A New Orleans Saints fan was arrested Monday night after he shoved Chicago Bears owner George McCaskey during an argument over seats.

Fight with the guy who owns the place and you’re gonna lose, every time.

A New Orleans Saints fan learned that lesson the hard way at Soldier Field Monday night as he was arrested after shoving Chicago Bears owner George McCaskey.

McCaskey had arrived at some of his seats to find several Saints fans occupying them.

According to the Bears, via the Chicago Tribune, McCaskey spoke briefly with one of the fans and then went to get security personnel.

As he walked away, 58-year-old Richard Kohnke went after him and shoved him in the back, according to police.

A Bears fan tackled Kohnke, who pushed McCaskey to the ground.

Security arrived and Kohnke, a New Orleans attorney, was ejected from the stadium. He was charged with simple battery.

McCaskey didn’t need medical attention, according to the team.

A lawyer? A lawyer doesn’t know any better than to push people?

It seems like a situation that didn’t need to spin out of control. Chasing McCaskey down to confront him was a really stupid call.

Of course, the Saints and their fans got the last laugh as Jay Cutler threw 17 interceptions (number approximate) and New Orleans moved into first place in the laughably bad NFC South with a 31-15 win over the Bears.
