32. Matt Asiata – Minnesota Vikings
Matt Asiata barely squeaked into these rankings, but he is very deserving of a spot on this with his play this year. He has carried the football 129 times for 421 yards and seven touchdowns on the season, and it is the touchdown numbers that won him this final spot. Minnesota has had a two-back system, and both of them have performed very well so far this year.
31. Knile Davis – Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs have used Knile Davis quite a bit this season, and he has rewarded them with excellent play. He has picked up 438 yards and six touchdowns on 123 attempts, and has performed very well behind Jamaal Charles. There is no question that he has the potential to have a bigger role elsewhere if he chooses to leave Kansas City at some point.
30. Alfred Blue – Houston Texans
Both Arian Foster and Alfred Blue have had great season so far this year, and Blue has been great relief for the Houston Texans when Foster has been down with an injury. He has carried the football 144 times for 483 yards and a touchdown. Without him, there is no question that the Texans would have been in much worse shape earlier this season when Foster was out.
29. Jerick McKinnon – Minnesota Vikings
Now the second member of the Minnesota Vikings’ backfield is listed, just a couple spots ahead of his teammate. McKinnon has done a good job when he has gotten the football, but he hasn’t had the opportunity to finish off touchdowns. That role has fallen to Asiata, and McKinnon currently has 538 yards on 113 carries and no touchdowns.
