Wrestler Ace Perry made one his biggest fan’s day by asking Amanda, a high school student with autism, if he could be her date to the prom.
Whatever the sport, whatever the level of sport, whatever exposure the athletes of that sport, it is sure nice to see players who get it.

IWA Midsouth Wrestling is not exactly a glamorous showcase to begin with. Still, Ace Perry has loyal fans and he appreciates them all the same. One fan in particular got his attention, and he did something this week to make her day.
Amanda, a high school student with autism, is Ace Perry’s biggest fan. She got Perry’s attention by contacting him on Facebook and being at every single event, and knowing just how loyal she is, he did something to say thank you.
Speaking in front of a group of fans, Ace Perry asked Amanda to her prom. It is simply outstanding.

As if Amanda’s reaction isn’t enough to make you happy, the enthusiasm of the entire room when he asks her is great. We all benefit from witnessing feel-good moments like this one.
