Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers admitted the team’s game against the Buffalo Bills was one of its worst, but he’s already looking to next week.

Aaron Rodgers had arguably the worst game of his career in the Green Bay Packers’ Week 15 loss at the Buffalo Bills. He was plagued with inconsistency both on his end and from his wide receivers, who dropped more passes than any team since 2008. In typical Rodgers fashion though, he’s ready to move on from the type of game he calls a ‘stinker’.

“Sunday was a rough one,” Rodgers said per ESPN. “I didn’t play well. That’s not news to anybody. Now, it was frustrating because obviously I hold myself to a really high standard. I know I can play better, and I should’ve played better.”

Rodgers had career lows for completion percentage (40.5) and passer rating (34.3) while throwing a career-high 25 incompletions. He was the second straight top-tier quarterback to be held to 0 touchdown passes after the Bills did the same to Peyton Manning.

“As an offense we were a little out of sync, and then obviously it didn’t help some of the throws I made, but we had some opportunities. We had some opportunities to convert some third downs, to make some plays, and we didn’t do it. So we all look squarely in the mirror, and we’re very self-critical — myself as much as anybody.”

Those opportunities included a big drop by Jordy Nelson that might have gone all the way for a touchdown had he hauled that one in. Rodgers wasn’t about to go down that path, standing firmly behind his receiver.

“That’s the one time in the last five years Jordy’s dropped a pass,” Rodgers said. “I wouldn’t trade him for anybody. There’s some incredible receivers in this league and guys who have been making some unbelievable plays, but I wouldn’t trade Jordy for any of them. I love playing with him.”
