Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall said the team needs to ‘gel together’ and put their tension behind them this offseason.
The Chicago Bears have a litany of problems, but there’s still talent on this roster and there are still those who believe in this team, despite the wretched results from this 2014 season. Count wide receiver Brandon Marshall among those who believe the team must first address its chemistry issues before it can take the next step.

“We really have to gel together and really try to do some Kumbaya in the offseason,” Marshall told reporters when asked what the Bears need to do between this season and next.
Kumbaya would be a nice, relaxing start to the healing process, but it won’t be enough for a team that’s been awful on defense and led by an ailing Jay Cutler on offense. Cutler leads the NFL in interceptions after 14 games played, and without Marshall it’s hard to believe the team will do any better in its last two games.
“You don’t want this to happen, it can’t happen, but we’re all so frustrated,” Marshall added.
In a season which could be the last for the current coaching staff and management, frustrated is absolutely the word. Could a little kumbaya with a new staff really be the answer?
At this point, it can’t hurt.
