Robinson is a 6’7″ forward, and certainly comes from good basketball genes. If he can turn into anything like his dad, albeit a good bit shorter, the Blue Devils will be getting an extremely talented player. There are plenty of question marks surrounding Robinson, but it will be an interesting situation to keep an eye on moving forward.
He made some comments to the media about being accepted into Duke and playing basketball for one of the best college basketball organizations of all-time.
"“I’m happy to get early decision from Duke since it is so amazing academically. It’s been a long time dream for me. The opportunity to be a preferred walk-on is exciting and I’m looking forward to being a part of the Duke Basketball tradition.”"
This will be a situation that will be fun to keep an eye on, and Robinson will have a solid chance to make the team. Robinson’s brother, Corey, is a wide receiver for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. It’s good to see Robinson’s sons following in his athletic footsteps, and it will be intriguing to see whether or not Justin ends up making the Duke basketball team.
