What a terrible piece of news with this Jabari Parker injury for the Milwaukee Bucks organization, as Parker has reportedly tore his ACL and will be forced to miss the rest of this season. Jason Kidd and this Bucks team find themselves in 6th place in the Eastern Conference with a respectable 13-12 record.

For fantasy purposes, the injury to Jabari Parker will force the Bucks to have to replace his average of 29.5 minutes per game, 12 points and 5 rebounds. Certainly not ground shaking numbers, but with the injury those minutes will have to be dished out to someone on that team. Now the most logical choice to the layman would have Khris Middleton step into the starting lineup and seeing his current average of 23.3 minutes expanded along with his number of shots.
Once Ersan Illyasova returns he could also stand to be a candidate to take over the starting role vacated by Parker. Both players have shown flashes of being a solid producer when given minutes. I would make both an add in standard sized and up leagues, in that order. In deeper leagues, we could even see Jared Dudley step up and play some minutes in the wake of this news. Let us not forget how maddening Kidd’s rotations have been for us fantasy ballers. The best advice as always is to watch the box scores for minutes and shot attempts to see who makes the leap.
I do not have to tell you that if you are in a deep keeper league or a dynasty format that you need to make sure you are stashing Parker in your IR spot, as he is certain to bounce back from this injury in what most believe to be all-star form.
