Doris Burke Shows Off Dribbling Skills … In Heels (GIF)
By Cory Buck
ESPN analyst Doris Burke showed off her dribbling skills on NBA Countdown on ESPN.
Doris Burke can dribble. If you didn’t gather that much from her sterling career at Providence College, allow us to remind you with this clip from her showing off some moves as former NBA players Jalen Rose and Avery Johnson watch on at their ESPN set.

Yep, there it is. That is definitely dribbling, which Jalen Rose and Avery Johnson know plenty about. But do they know about dribbling in high heels? Probably not, but if they do that’s fine as well.
You may know Burke from NBA Countdown and other ESPN shows, or you may know her as the reporter who was reduced to tears by the warmth of Gregg Popovich.
You can’t just toss-up meatballs for Pop to hit out of the ball park. He’s on that Bill Belichick level of evasive interview subjects, so there’s no faulting Burke for her troubles there.
Burke was a point guard for the Providence University women’s basketball team where she was known for her vision, prowess and tenacity. She left the University as its all-time leader in assists and currently sits at 2nd in that category.
