Rapper Drake had a Toronto Raptors game night dedicated to him, in which he compared the Raptors to the cast of Drake’s old show, Degrassi.
The Toronto Raptors are tearing through the NBA‘s Eastern Conference, currently sitting in first place. As one of their staunchest fans, rapper Drake can say he started from the bottom with these guys, and now they’re here.
In return, the Raptors rewarded arguably their most high-profile fan a night dedicated to Drake. Drake returned the favor by somehow tying the Raptors to his old show, “Degrassi: The Next Generation.”

How does he come up with these things? Oh, that’s his job? Well, then. Cool.
The Raptors honored Drake in a big way, naming Wednesday night ‘Drake Night’ while handing out 19,000 t-shirts with his name on the back.
