The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics will reportedly finalize a trade for point guard Rajon Rondo on Thursday night.

The Dallas Mavericks were the front runners according to reports earlier on Thursday, now it looks like a deal could be completed by the end of the day according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.

As for the other teams who were trying to nab Rondo, they’ve been told to get lost.
Boston's informed teams it's focused on completing deal with Dallas soon, closing on a package to send Rajon Rondo to Mavs, sources tell Y.

This coincides with a report from Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, confirming and elaborating on some of the details. Wojnarowski reported that the Mavericks were including Wright, Crowder and a 2015 first-round pick, stating more players and picks could be added.
