WWE legend Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling. There is nothing left that Hogan has to prove in his WWE career, but he isn’t satisfied yet. Hogan still wants one more match in the WWE, and at his age it is curious to say the least.
Hogan went on to explain why he wants one more match while promoting this Sunday’s SmackDown taping at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA.
“Triple H told me I’ve got nothing to prove but the last time I wrestled was not with this company and I want my legacy to end with the WWE,” Hogan said, via the Sioux City Journal. “I weigh 295. I’m in really good shape and I’m training like I’m going to get in the ring. I’m like a convict given a life sentence.
“Vince (McMahon, the WWE founder) said, ‘Never say never.’ And that’s what I want – one last match, one last run, one last title win, one last title retirement.”
Hard to argue with that theory, professional athletes in other sports often sign contracts to retire with a team they’re associated with if they played elsewhere. The difference being that is usually ceremonial, they don’t then go play one final game.
If Hogan could handle one more match, why not.
