Just how weird can the sports world be? Keith Olberman watched Mark Cuban finalize the Rajon Rondo trade in The Colbert Report green room.
On Thursday, the Dallas Mavericks finalized a trade to acquire Rajon Rondo from the Boston Celtics.

There were plenty of rumors leading up to the deal — which sent Jameer Nelson, Brendan Wright, Jae Crowder and two draft picks to Boston — officially going through, but there are a few people who knew before the rest of the world that it was all going down.
ESPN’s Keith Olberman shed light on how it went down.
According to Olberman, he was sitting in the green room for an appearance on The Colbert Show when he watched Mark Cuban finalize the trade.
It isn’t every day that you get to see a major sports trade worked out over the phone and it is certainly not something you expect to see when you are preparing for an appearance on a comedy show.
