With their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night, the Tennessee Titans are in pretty good position to end up with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. In this draft it’s widely speculated that Oregon QB and Heisman winner Marcus Mariota will be the first selection of the group.
Given the quarterback issues they’ve dealt with in recent years, including the bust that has been Jake Locker, Titans fans would love for nothing more than to see Mariota under center for them leading their offense back to the top of the AFC.
But just how excited are they?
Well, so excited that they’ve apparently already printed up the jerseys bearing Mariota’s name.
So, yeah, pretty safe to assume that the folks in Tennessee are more than ready for the Hawaiian native to head their way and take the reins of this struggling offense.
Whether or not the Titans do end up with that top pick remains to be seen, but they’re not keeping it a secret who they want.
Poor Zach Mettenberger.
