Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt voiced his frustration to the media about the officiating after Thursday night’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It’s easy to get frustrated when your team falls to 2-13 on the season and has been unable to secure a win since Week 6.

Those frustrations finally boiled over a bit for Tennessee Titans head coach Ken Whisenhunt, after Thursday Night’s 21-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Whisenhunt accused the Jaguars offensive line of holding for much of the game and blamed the officials for not calling any of it.

“They were holding the crap out of us on our defensive lineman when the quarterback got out of the pocket and we didn’t get a call,” Whisenhunt said, according to the Tennessean. “That was very frustrating.”

Titans defensive end Jurrell Casey agreed with his coach’s assessment, but added that they needed to do more to get free and get to Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles.

“There were a couple of times I got held,” Casey said, “but at the end of the day you have to get off the blocks and keep him contained. You have to collapse the pocket and not let him escape.”

One bright spot for the Titans out of Thursday night’s loss though is now they are in a good position to get the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Next week, they’ll play the Indianapolis Colts, which most likely will be a loss and end their season with a 2-14 record. This puts them into a position to select a top quarterback out of the draft, such as Heisman winner Marcus Mariota, which they desperately need.
