The Washington Redskins won’t be going to the playoffs but they can play the role of spoiler and hand the Philadelphia Eagles a loss and drastically hurt their chances at getting in the postseason and Alfred Morris is doing his part.

We don’t get too much NFL on Saturday’s so perhaps we’re in for a crazy game between the Eagles and Redskins in this NFC East tilt with playoff implications on the line for Philadelphia. The Eagles fell behind 3-0 early after a Mark Sanchez fumble gave their opponents favorable field position to boot a short field goal from 25 yards out.
The Eagles would take the lead after LeSean McCoy scored his fifth touchdown of the year, but the lead didn’t last long as Washington would score on the ensuing drive.
Former Eagle DeSean Jackson hauled in a 51-yard reception from Robert Griffin III to put Washington in position to reclaim the lead and one play later got a 28-yard touchdown run from Alfred Morris to give them a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The touchdown run capped a three-play drive that took 90 seconds to travel 80 yards.
This looks like it could be a back-and-forth affair as the Eagles took the lead back in the second quarter on a touchdown from Riley Cooper with 3:39 remaining in the first half.
You can watch the second half of this NFC East game between Morris’ Redskins and McCoy’s Eagles on the NFL Network.
