Rajon Rondo was traded to the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night, but one fan used quick thinking to stay current with his old Rondo jersey.
The Boston Celtics trading Rajon Rondo to the Dallas Mavericks what what has amounted to chump change angered a lot of Bostonians who loved Rondo and didn’t want to see him go.

Some fans so badly did not want to lose their Rondo hard-on that they followed him to Dallas and switched allegiances. Down in Dallas, fans show this newfound love for Rondo by buying up his new merchandise that was on shelves as soon as he was traded, but not everyone had to buy a Rondo jersey to have one.
One clever fan managed to bypass having to buy a brand new Rajon Rondo jersey and simply altered the one that he had. Who knew all you had to do was slap the new team name your favorite player plays for onto the front of your jersey to have a brand new, up-to-date uniform?
This kid knew.
This isn’t the first time someone has altered a jersey like this but it’s one of the more creative ventures into the jersey alteration business.
It’s hardly professional, looks kind of tacky but it’s something that shows Rondo love is still a thing and it’s infecting Dallas like ebola — okay, maybe not like ebola but it’s still everywhere.
