With the Philadelphia Eagles heading to Washington and completely choking on Saturday, the Dallas Cowboys could clinch a playoff spot this week.

The Dallas Cowboys have already gotten one monkey off of their backs this year with breaking the 8-8 curse, now in Week 16 they have the chance to erase something else, and that’s their NFL Playoff drought.

Saturday afternoon the Philadelphia Eagles went to Washington to face off with the lowly Redskins, and well, they completely choked, to be frank. The Redskins got the 27-24 win, meaning that the NFL Playoff picture is now a lot clearer, especially in the NFC East.

With the Eagles dropping the game to the Redskins on Saturday, the all the Cowboys have to do to punch their ticket to the NFL Playoffs is beat the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon, locking them in as champions of the NFC East.

Not many picked the Cowboys to win the East before the season started, with the Eagles being the favorites to repeat. However, the Cowboys have put together a pretty solid season with a record of 10-4 on the year, and moving to 11-4 Sunday would end up proving all those preseason detractors wrong.
