Like any wise underclassman, Diggs is doing his due diligence and evaluating all options before making a decision.
That has included head coach Randy Edsall reaching out around the league to talk to some coaches and scouts to see where his star player ranks among the draft eligible talents in 2015.
“I’ve called around to GMs and college scouting directors and personnel people and gathered information for him,” Edsall said, via CSN Baltimore. “And then once we get back the information from the NFL, I’m going to sit down with his mom and him and go over all the information that I have and present it to them.”
As it currently stands, Stefon Diggs should expect to be a mid-round pick.
In 2014, Diggs hauled in 654 yards and five touchdowns, while adding 478 yards on special teams. All of that was done despite missing time due to suspension and injury.
Whether that would be enough for Diggs to make the jump to the pros remains to be seen, but he could certainly benefit from returning to school for his senior season.
