Despite undergoing hand surgery earlier in the week, Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is expected to suit up for a crucial Week 16 matchup.
Since undergoing surgery to repair a broken bone in his hand earlier this week, there was some speculation about whether Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray would be able to play in Week 16 against the Indianapolis Colts.
As the week went on and Murray began to practice, it seemed more and more likely that he was going to play.
While there is still no official decision, the “expectations are” that DeMarco Murray will be on the field Sunday.
From ESPN’s Ed Werder:
Expectations are @DeMarcoMurray will play vs. #Colts. Final decision Sun. morning. Murray: "I have to do right thing for myself and team."

The Cowboys can get into the postseason by securing a win, but the Colts are never an easy out.
The good news for Dallas, however, is Indianapolis has already locked up the AFC South so Sunday’s game is not as crucial for Andrew Luck and company. The Cowboys, meanwhile, will need to stay ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles — who play Saturday afternoon against the Washington Redskins.
