Robert Griffin III Is A Rebel, Wears Adidas Gear (Photo)

Washington Redskins‘ quarterback Robert Griffin III is in line for a fine for violating NFL rules, wearing Adidas gloves during his team’s week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
In what follows, we will consider a tweet from Darren Rovell about Robert Griffin III. That’s a lot to take, I know. Please prepare yourself accordingly.

Robert Griffin III is once again the quarterback for the Washington Redskins as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in week 16. That despite extensive efforts on Washington’s part to move away from RGIII, including the use of Colt McCoy at quarterback, on purpose, during the 2014 NFL season.
Injuries have made it such that RGIII is in there once again for Washington, giving him one last, flailing chance to prove to head coach Jay Gruden and the other decision makers that he can still be the franchise quarterback that he once appeared to be.
Besides his play on the field, it might be good for Griffin to prove that he is a team guy. He needs to prove that he cares more about team victories than he does about getting individual attention or launch obnoxious hash-tag campaigns on social media.
Even during his last chance, however, it appears RGIII cannot help but do something self-serving…even if it is something as trivial as the gloves he wears.
Observe.
On the one hand, wearing Adidas despite the leagues’ commitment to Nike is not a big deal. Then again, it’s not like RGIII doesn’t know the rules, so this does feel typical when it comes from him.
Enjoy your fine, RGIII.
