By Josh Sanchez
With the NFL regular season dwindling down, two games will take place on Saturday afternoon that could impact the playoff picture in the AFC and NFC.
While the college football bowl season kicks off on Saturday, there are also some games in the National Football League that will be taking place.

Not only will it be great to enjoy some Saturday NFL action, but the games could impact the playoff race in both the AFC and NFC.
In the first game on the schedule, the Philadelphia Eagles travel to FedEx Field for a meeting with the NFC East rival Washington Redskins. Kickoff for the Week 16 matchup is set to take place at 4:30 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
After losing to the Dallas Cowboys last weekend, the Eagles are now on the outside looking in for the NFC Wild Card spots.
If the Eagles were to get upset by the Redskins on Saturday afternoon, it would be a devastating blow to their hopes of reaching the postseason.
In the second game of Saturday’s double-header, the San Diego Chargers travel to Levi’s Stadium for a meeting with the San Francisco 49ers. Kickoff takes place at 8:25 p.m. ET, with coverage available on CBS and the NFL Network.
For the Chargers, a loss to the 49ers, who are eliminated from postseason play, could potentially be the knockout shot for their postseason hopes in a crowded AFC Wild Card race.
