Indianapolis Colts rookie receiver Donte Moncrief made a catch against the Dallas Cowboys, but Dallas Cowboys defender Brandon Carr made sure he went nowhere.
This probably never happened to Donte Moncrief when he suited up for Ole Miss.
The Indianapolis Colts rookie wide receiver hauled in a pass from Andrew Luck and was ready to run upfield, but Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr had other ideas.
Moncrief wound up going for no gain on the play, at least no gain downfield. He did go and and down about a half-yard or so.

The Colts, who clinched the AFC South title last week, are getting bounced around like Moncrief was on that play. At halftime, the Cowboys—who can clinch the NFC East with a win—lead 28-0 and Indianapolis had had the ball for less than 10 minutes and has gained only 104 total yards.
Tony Romo has been fairly good—13-of-14 for 155 yards and three touchdowns in the first half—and DeMarco Murray has 40 yards and a touchdown despite playing with a broken hand.
Dallas clinched a playoff berth on Saturday when the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Washington Redskins.
It’s possible—likely, smart, wise, choose your adjective—the Colts will start playing some backups in the second half. Their chances of getting a first-round bye are remote, at best, and there’s no sense getting someone important (*cough* Andrew Luck *cough*) hurt in a blowout.
