Washington Redskins‘ wide receiver DeSean Jackon had some thoughts about his former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, after Washington beat the Eagles in a week 16 upset on the NFL schedule.

So the Redskins, now 4-11 on the season, beat the Eagles on Saturday night. In doing so, they snapped a six-game losing streak and made their season only slightly less disastrous.

DeSean Jackson has some thoughts.

Apparently feeling empowered by the victory, one which included 126 yards receiving from Jackson, the speedy wide receiver was not short on comments about the Eagles and where they are going wrong. It would appear that Jackson believes that he knows the problem for the Eagles on both sides of the ball. Specifically, he took shots at Philadelphia for trying to cover him one-on-one.

Here is what Jackson had to say, courtesy of NFL.com:

"“I have been there the past couple years, that’s how they play,” Jackson said. “They’re very naive and they play how they play. … They have witnessed a lot players, wide receivers and tight ends, get off for some huge games on them. I’m just happy to be on this side and be able to send them home with a loss.”"

Jackson wasn’t quite done talking about his former team.

"Jackson also disclosed that he still has a good relationship with many former teammates, who are “constantly” telling him how much they miss him."

I am sure that Chip Kelly and the rest of the Eagles would be thrilled to know that certain players feel the need to speak for the whole team about their controversial former teammate.

DeSean Jackson won’t have many opportunities to talk trash in Washington in the foreseeable future, so it appears he will take them when he gets them.
