Jay Cutler Rumors: Tennessee Titans Interested In Cutler?
By Hayden Kane
The Chicago Bears might be ready to move on from quarterback Jay Cutler at the end of this NFL season. If they do, the Tennessee Titans might be one interested team.
While most people cringed at the play of quarterback Jay Cutler during his team’s loss to the Saints on Monday night football in week 15, some teams around the league took a look and thought: “hey, we could live with that.”

Of course that says more about the lack of options for some teams at quarterback than it does anything else, but the fact remains that Jay Cutler would still be an upgrade for quite a few teams in the NFL, even on his worst day.
The Chicago Bears might be fed up with Cutler, and rightfully so, but other teams will be interested. It’s with that in mind that we consider the first report about just such an interested team.
With the Bears benching Cutler for week 16 and potentially looking to trade him, the Tennessee Titans appear to be the first team to express interest. Per Ian Rapoport:
Jay Cutler will always be a risky player at quarterback because he turns the ball over way too much. Still, his upside when he protects the ball is still enough that NFL teams will be interested…especially NFL teams that have played Charlie Whitehurst and Jake Locker at quarterback during the same season.
