Despite reports suggesting Robert Griffin III and Jay Gruden are at odds, both men are expected to return to the Washington Redskins in 2015.
Throughout the 2014-15 NFL season, there have been countless reports suggesting Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden and his quarterback, Robert Griffin III, have not been on the same page.

That led to speculation that the team may be forced to decide between their coach and quarterback during the offseason, but that all may have changed on Saturday evening when Washington knocked off the division rival Philadelphia Eagles — which delivered a devastating blow to Philly’s postseason hopes.
Following the Washington win, Jason Reid of the Washington Post penned his reactionary column which stated the two men were both expected to return.
Reid wrote:
"Jay Gruden and Robert Griffin III are expected to return next season. Although the situation isn’t ideal, perhaps Gruden and Griffin could make it work if they stick to the blueprint from Saturday’s 27-24 victory over thePhiladelphia Eagles."
It was a good win for the Redskins and one that showed Gruden and Griffin are more than capable of working together.
While the team still has plenty of room for improvement, it was a promising sign that Gruden’s continued efforts to improve the offense finally resulted in a win and it may have saved him his job.
