Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo broke Troy Aikman’s record to become the team’s all-time passing leader on Sunday afternoon.
The Dallas Cowboys are having their way with the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16 of the regular season, with a 35-0 lead near the end of the third quarter. Dallas’ latest touchdown was a pass from Tony Romo to his good friend Jason Witten, and it ended up being a historic completion.
With the 25 yards, Romo broke Troy Aikman’s all-time passing record and became the leading passer in Dallas Cowboys history.

Romo now has 32,961 career passing yards.
Just how good has Romo been all night? The 25-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten was his 15th straight completion of the game — a personal record.
At the time he broke the record, Tony Romo had completed 17-of-18 passes for 208 yards and a near perfect quarterback rating of 154.4. Romo also has four touchdowns on the night.
Barring an unlikely collapse in the final quarter of the game, the Dallas Cowboys will go on to clinch a playoff berth and the NFC East title.
You know what they say: “How ’bout them Cowboys?”
