Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel admitted that he didn’t work his hard as he could have in his rookie season.
One of the biggest concerns about Johnny Manziel as a draft prospect centered around whether he’d work hard enough to be a successful NFL player.
Well, incredibly enough, Manziel gave into his detractors on Tuesday, suggesting he didn’t work as hard as he could have in his rookie season.

The good news for Browns fans is that it appears Manziel has had his eureka moment and is going to fully commit himself going forward.

It’s sort of shocking to hear Manziel be this revealing about his work ethic and how badly it needs to improve.
But there’s no doubt Manziel’s rookie season was an enormous disappointment and he must get better if he wants to be the Browns’ quarterback of the future.
Manziel only started two games this year and didn’t have much success in them. Before his season-ending hamstring injury suffered in Week 16, he was 18-of-35 for 175 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions this season.
