When the College Football Playoff committee left out TCU and Baylor, many college football fans and Big 12 fans alike were upset by being excluded from the final four in favor of Ohio State. Apparently, RGIII was one of those upset, and understandably so.
The Big 12 received criticism for not having a title game, and ended up having Baylor and TCU as co-champions. Baylor had beaten TCU head-to-head and TCU was ranked 4th. Both teams had strong arguments for a chance to compete for a championship.
Unfortunately for them, an Ohio State drubbing of Wisconsin led to the Buckeyes getting the final spot in the dance.
RGIII, the former Baylor Bear, felt that Baylor was robbed of a playoff spot.
RG3 said on a conference call with the Dallas media that he thinks Baylor got robbed, being left out of the national championship playoff.

It’s not surprising to see RGIII come to the aid of his former school, and he has a justifiable argument along with many others as well. He’s not the first to voice his displeasure with the system, and for all intents and purposes, will most not likely be the last.
Many have already called for an eight team playoff so there would be no controversy. For now though, there are four teams fighting for the first playoff championship, and neither Baylor nor TCU will be one of those teams this year.
