Some fans made a version of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” music video for new new Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo. Now you might think it would’ve been some bitter Boston Celtics given that the original Swift version is about break ups.
But nope.
It is some Dallas Mavericks fans who are thrilled about the arrival of Rondo, and are overly optimistic that he could help lead them back to post season glory. The lyrics are reworded to talk about his incredible passes and plays, and I guess the Mavericks are hoping Rondo can help free up some space for his teammates.
Or find his teammates in space for open shots, or pass balls through very limited space and windows to set them up.
The only issue is that the singing is pretty awful and unbearable. If you can live through that there are plenty of interesting highlights and some interesting and entertaining lyrics.
