The Seattle Seahawks’ championship defending season got off to a slow start, but they’re right back contending at the top of the NFC heading into the playoffs. That means the Seahawks bandwagon is loading back up for another playoff run.
According to the Jersey Report, which tracks the sales of NFL jerseys at DICK’s Sporting Goods stores around the nation and online, the Seahawks have three players in the top 10 selling NFL jerseys over the last week heading into Christmas.
The highest selling NFL jersey over the past week was that of Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, edging out other quarterbacks like Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos and Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts.
There is a bit of a drop off after Wilson, with Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch coming in ninth place. Lynch climbed 13 spots to crack the top 10 list. The 12th Man jersey comes in at No. 10 on the list, and was clear and away the biggest climber of the week moving up 45 spots.
It gives the Seahawks three teams in the top 10, more than any other team in the NFL. The New England Patriots are the only other team with two players in the top 10 in quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski, who sit in the middle of the list at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
