Devon Still’s daughter Leah helps to teach him about strength as they celebrate Christmas and make her dreams come true.

Devon Still has learned so much about the joys of life this year as his daughter Leah battles a rare form of pediatric cancer. Recently Devon and his daughter were taking their holiday pictures as they do every year, but this year they took on a different sort of meaning as Devon admits that next Christmas for his young daughter Leah is not a guarantee.

After taking the pictures Devon and Leah were writing their letters to Santa Claus where young Leah asked Santa to meet a Disney princess. As soon as Leah mailed the letter Devon and Santa went to work to make Leah’s Christmas wish come true. Soon after delivering the letter the two boarded a plane to Orlando, Florida where Leah’s wish would come true.

In a very moving moment, Leah after having her very own princess make-over, gets the surprise she asked Santa for when Princess Jasmine comes and gives her a hug.

In a world that is filled with so many different problems it is so nice to hear a story like this where a young girl who is going through the battle of her life at such a young and tender age gets to have her dreams come true. She teaches her father what true beauty is all about and it is a lesson we can all learn from. Devon speaks of his daughter’s beauty even when she has no hair and how those outside appearances do not matter.

As you watch you will see the beauty emanate from his daughter and her smile will certainly make you smile too. Smiling is something we could all use more of through the holiday season.
