Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans

For most of the NFL this game will have little to no interest, but to Texans and Chiefs fans this game could have MAJOR playoff implications. If the Ravens lose to Cleveland and the Chiefs beat the Chargers the Texans can still make the playoffs if they win this game. While the Chiefs fan in me wants the Jaguars to pull this out to give the Chiefs a chance, I don’t see it happening. The Texans defense with JJ Watt is just too good for Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville offense. I do think that the Jaguars defense is good enough to make this a close game, especially with the Texans having to start their fourth string QB again this week.

San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs and Chargers have both been very inconsistent this season. At times both have been capable of beating anyone and at other times both have looked like they don’t belong anywhere near the playoffs. If the Chargers win this game they’re in, while the Chiefs need a lot of help to squeak in. What I’m guessing will happen is that KC will win and keep SD out of the playoffs but the Chiefs won’t get the help that they need and both teams will be sitting at home watching the playoffs on TV. That would be a fitting end for both of these teams given the seasons that they have had.
