The Armchair Quarterback’s Guide To The NFL: Week 17
Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos
The Raiders may be 3-2 in their last five games, but all three of those wins were at home and all three of them were against struggling offenses (KC, SF, and Buf). This game is in Denver and the Broncos are averaging almost two full TDs more per game than the Raiders are. The Broncos also have the superior defense. It won’t be a blow out because the Broncos will want to protect Peyton Manning for the playoffs, but they’ll have enough to beat Oakland in this one.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers
Honestly, this game may come down to the first team to score a TD wins. I think offense will be in very short supply. The 49ers seem to be getting worse and worse on offense as the season goes by and the Cardinals can’t run the football and are starting Logan Thomas in his first ever NFL start. I don’t want to say that this game could be a snooze fest, but……..bring a pillow. In the end I think the 49ers have the better run game and I’ll take Colin Kaepernick over Logan Thomas.
