Welcome to week 17 of fantasy football FanDuel line-ups. This is the last week of the regular season, and teams will be moving into playoff mode while others are fighting and battling for a final playoff spot.
Our job this week is to help you navigate through the waters here and find not only some value plays, but some values plays from teams who hopefully will not be resting players and guys who will see a full complement of reps. I suspect there could be a lot of extra traffic on the FanDuel site this weekend, as most season long leagues have wrapped up last week to avoid just the kind of problems we are working against. So with that said, let’s go ahead and lay out what we hope will be a winning line-up.
Quarterback:
Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings $7,500: Teddy Bridgewater has truly been the best of all the rookie quarterbacks this year, and has been a fairly solid producer of late. As sticking with our play anyone against the Bears theme, we look to insert Teddy into our lineup this week. With a salary of $7,500 we think that Teddy should bring you some nice value, and hopefully even some extra mustard against a Bears team that could not likely stop Goldilocks at quarterback.
Next: Let's Go Get Some Running Backs

Running Backs:
Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers, $6,600: Jonathan Stewart has finally been showing the signs of the back that everyone thought he could be years ago when he was drafted by the Panthers. For the last three weeks, he has seen over 20 touches, and this week against the Falcons he gets one of the leagues worst defenses in a game that has meaning. I am going to saddle up J. Stew with confidence and not even worry about DeAngelo Williams one bit.
Matt Asiata, Minnesota Vikings, $6,400: Once again, you can call me crazy and I might be, but I truly believe this theory I have. Start anyone against the Bears. Asiata is not a high upside or high ceiling type of player, but there is a great chance he will find the end zone at least once if not 2 or 3 times. The Vikings also ended the Ben Tate experiment, so he should not be challenged at all for touches so a full complement of work should lend itself to a big day for Asiata.
Next: Time to go deep!

Wide Receivers:
Odell Beckham Jr, New York Giants, $9200: Odell Beckham Jr. has literally burst onto the scene, and for all intents and purposes, shook the fantasy football world up like crazy. His unrealistic rise led many a team to fantasy glory, and his been on most of the winning teams on FanDuel as well. Beckham is worth every penny of this $9,200, and maybe even more. I am not sure that anyone could stop him right now as he is just that scorching hot.
Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons, $8,700: Julio Jones is back healthy, and topped 100 yards receiving last week. This week he gets the Panthers secondary who has not been very good as of late. This is a game that will decide the NFC South title and a playoff bid, so Jones, barring injuries will see a full complement of snaps. At this price point we get a player who is on par with the talents that are priced much higher and the upside to score with them as well.
Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis Colts, $5,300: I know that I picked Moncrief in this spot last week and he burned us. But the Colts have literally nothing to play for, and considering the history of how the franchise has handled this kind of situation before I am hoping that some of the main guys will be limited or possibly out altogether. Donte should bounce back nicely this week and perform well, so I am willing to give it one more go.
Next: Let's Get Mr. Dependable

Tight End:
Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers, $6,400: Greg Olsen has been one of the most consistent producing tight ends all season long. He still does not top Jimmy Graham or Rob Gronkowski in total points scored, but at this price point and coupled with the fact that the Panthers are fighting for the NFC South title, I expect Olsen to see plenty of work and hopefully find the end zone.

Defense:
Miami Dolphins, $4,900: The Miami Dolphins have been a pretty solid fantasy defense all year, but that is not the reason we are using them this week. The reason is simply stated as the New York Jets. As in J E T S Jets Jets Jets! The Jets are not a good football team, and quite frankly, should have probably already fired Rex Ryan and began to clean house and start over. They have not done that and continue to just stink it up every week. Start the Dolphins here with confidence.

Kicker:
Connor Barth, Denver Broncos, $5,000: Ok, I am one of those guys who hate to spend a lot of time over-thinking a kicker in fantasy football. I think they should be banned, but until I get everyone to think correctly like I do, I will have to keep coming up with weird strategies and hoping they work, so here we go. Peyton and the Broncos have been pretty bad the past few weeks. One would think that eventually they have to break out of this funk, and when they do, there should be points aplenty for the kicker. Also, he fit in the budget and has been a good kicker since taking over in week 13.
