Christmas night the Los Angeles Lakers will be taking on the Chicago Bulls and Kobe Bryant will not be in action for the Lakers once again. Kobe will be sitting out once again to rest, head coach Byron Scott confirmed on Thursday.
Well this is certainly bad news for one of the games that wasn’t getting quite the love from fans to begin with. This was maybe the least looked forward to game of the holiday, and now it just got a lot worse to take in, not having the most famous player of the entire group not on the court.
On the season so far, Bryant is averaging 24.6 points per game with 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists. The Lakers as a team are struggling, coming into this contest Thursday night with a record of just 9-19 overall.
If they’re going to get that 10th win on the season, they will have to do so without Bryant.
You’re up, Swaggy P.
