The Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat met for their epic Christmas Day showdown, and it was Miami who ended up getting the last laugh.
When the Cavaliers and Heat were matched up on Christmas Day, it was a game that just about everyone in the world was looking forward to. After burning the Heat this summer and leaving to return to Cleveland, LeBron James’ return to South Beach was something everyone was looking forward to.

The end result wasn’t what LeBron James and the Cavaliers wanted though, as they got run out of South Beach in a 101-91 loss.
The Miami Herald wasted no time in trolling LeBron James for losing to the Miami Heat and returning to Cleveland where the culture still isn’t one of the winning variety.

To be perfectly fair, there are very distinct differences between LeBron’s situation in Miami and the one he finds himself in now with the Cavaliers. In Miami, he assembled an A-Team of winning veterans whereas in Cleveland he has a bunch of guys he’s trying to teach how to win.
Essentially, LeBron James is Rip Torn in ‘Dodgeball’ teaching Joe Harris, Matthew Dellevadova and Dion Waiters how to dodge a wrench.
LeBron James isn’t a loser in Cleveland and he didn’t make the wrong decision in leaving Miami. But kudos to the Heat for giving no f-cks whatsoever in their reunion with LeBron as he received the same welcome back that James Jones did.
The only difference is James Jones wasn’t trolled for losing, which shows that Heat fans are still bitter over losing LeBron James this offseason.
