Every year two teams play in the Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. This year No. 19 Auburn and No. 17 Wisconsin joined in together at the annual meal hosted for both participating teams at Outback Steakhouse.
The two teams combined to eat a lot of meat to say the least. Together they ate roughly over a ton of food between them. That comes out to an average of several pounds per person. They didn’t stop there either, they would go on to eat over 1,200 pounds of cheesecake making many wonder where all the food goes. Last year, LSU and Iowa combined to eat over 5,000 pounds of food.
Outback Bowl dinner for Auburn & Wisconsin: 750 pounds of steak, 900 lbs. of ribs, 750 lbs. of chicken, 1,600 shrimp, 1,200 lbs. cheese cake

The most surprising thing in all of this is that Outback even had that much meat and cheesecake on hand to serve. With Auburn and Wisconsin boasting big players comes big appetites and they did not disappoint. The game isn’t til New Year’s Day so both of these teams will have ample time to digest their monstrous meals.
Lets hope the respective hotels these teams are staying at have a lot of toilet paper on hand.
