5. Find A Way To Slow Down Nelson, Cobb

The Green Bay Packers offense is centered around Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, Jordy Nelson, and Randall Cobb. Lacy is going to have a very difficult time running against the best rush defense in the league, but Nelson and Cobb are going to be major concerns through the air.

Detroit is going to need to find a way to slow both of those receivers down to have a chance at stopping the Packers’ offense. It has been proven throughout the season that when defenses can slow down his top two receivers, Rodgers usually ends up having a rough game. Obviously that is easier said than done, but players like Glover Quin, James Ihedigbo, Rashean Mathis, and Darius Slay are going to have to step up and play their best games of the season.

It is going to be a very tough game facing two of the top wide receivers in the NFL, but the Lions are capable of playing up to the challenge. Green Bay is going up against a very good defense, but they still believe their offense can overcome the defensive pressure. The Lions have to step up and prove that they can stop the Packers offense for the second time this season.
