We are getting closer and closer to seeing Jim Harbaugh as the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, and it could be a reality soon.
The entire college football world is waiting in anticipation to see whether or not Jim Harbaugh will indeed be the new head coach of the Michigan Wolverines. Apparently, we could have an answer to all of this drama as early as the next few days.
According to a report from Bleacher Report’s Jason Cole, Harbaugh could formally accept the six-year, $48 million offer from the Wolverines as early as this week, once the NFL season is over.
"Two members of the San Francisco 49ers staff and a third NFL source said Saturday they expect 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh to accept a six-year, $48 million contract to become the head coach of the University of Michigan.“That’s what everybody on staff believes is going to happen this week,” one of the sources said. “Jim has figured out that his style is best-suited for the college game. His shtick works better with young guys who are gone after three or four years.”"
This news might not be all that shocking to some, however there was a good portion of people who truly believed that he would want to stay in the NFL, more than likely to coach the Oakland Raiders.
Harbaugh’s final game with the 49ers will be this Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, and from there, he should be well on his way to saying hello to everyone in his old home of Ann Arbor.
