One might wonder what PGA golfer John Daly has been up to recently? Even if you weren’t, if you follow him on Twitter you got a nice glimpse of what he was up to on Christmas.
He titled the photo of himself on his Twitter ‘Merry Smokin Christmas from Bad Santa’. From the looks of the photo it certainly looked like he was trying to reprise the Billy Bob Thornton role from the movie by the same name. Not that there’s anything wrong with that?
Daly certainly looks like he’s having a good time. You can all leave it up to yourselves to guess what transpired before and/or after this picture was taken. Whatever you guess, you’re probably on the right track.
He’s best known for winning the 1995 British Open Championship. He last won a PGA tournament in 2004 at the Buick Invitational, earning him Comeback Player of the Year, although he did win the 2014 Beko Classic, a sanctioned event by the PGA Europs. He is also known for his long golf drives.
In 2008, Daly was found drunk at a Hooters in North Carolina and was taken into police custody but was not arrested in the incident. Since then, he has said he has not had anything to drink, however it certainly appears he has not rid himself of other vices.
