Johnny Manziel Fined For Blowing Off Treatment
By Josh Hill
Johnny Manziel has been fined for being late to treatment and basically being everything the Browns feared he might be.
Cleveland Browns fans are watching in horror as their season that started out with so much promise and looked so hopeful is crashing and burning in typical fashion.
Josh Gordon appears to be done in Cleveland and Johnny Manziel’s future is starting to get cloudy as well. No less than 24 hours after promising to take his job more seriously with the team and begin to work hard at being a leader, Johnny mantle was fined for not caring about his job.
According to Mary Kay Cabot from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Manziel has been fined for missing treatment, which is concerning since it came a day after he vowed to be more serious about his job with the Browns.
Not only is Manziel in trouble for being late for treatment, but he’s quickly wearing out his welcome with fans. His fine is being buried by news that Josh Gordon has been suspended for the rest of the season and that his future in Cleveland is very much in doubt.
Manziel has promised to be more serious about his job in Cleveland, which first off indicates he wasn’t serious to begin with and clearly isn’t serious now as he’s still tardy. Manziel needs to get it together this offseason as he’s given the Browns absolutely no reason not to find a veteran quarterback to start the 2015 season and leave Johnny Football on the bench another year.
That is, assuming he shows up in tome for the start of the season.
