The love for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish seems to be much greater in Nashville than it is for the LSU Tigers
In the heart of SEC country, you’d think there would be a little more love for the LSU Tigers. Not so much if you are in Nashville, apparently, as Notre Dame prepares to take on the LSU Tigers in the Music City Bowl.

While I believe reporters shall remain neutral, the whole context of the video clip here is not known. However the reporter does say all the people of Notre Dame can go back home (after the game) and tell everyone about Nashville, but as for the people of LSU, they can just go home.
Reading some comments on the Instagram of the person who took the video, you can tell LSU fans are fired up about the comment. Some are calling for his firing and some think it was just downright disrespectful.
I don’t know about the firing part but I do think the guy was probably just saying it in jest as a fan of another team. I think an apology should be forthcoming at least to appease some. While I agree with the spirit of the message I think he certainly could have left the comment out of his broadcast.
It does beg the question though: Where is the line as fan and reporter? Clearly this guy has an allegiance to either Notre Dame or another SEC team. The video does not indicate which is the truth but one thing is clear, he has no love loss for the LSU Tigers.
