The brass at Nebraska decided to part ways with head coach Bo Pelini, and it is clear that the player’s were fond of Bo Pelini. He was fired before their bowl game so he isn’t able to coach his former team on Saturday night, but he was with them in spirit.
It started with them saving him a seat on the team bus. Then the players took it a step further by marking up their uniforms in various ways to honor their former coach.
Some players, like Kenny Bell, honored Pelini by writing his name on the tape on their fore arms.
