Notre Dame showed off their epic new cleats that they will wear against LSU in the Music City Bowl.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were a playoff contender midway through the season, but then came the collapse that started with a dramatic loss to the Florida State Seminoles. After that loss, the Irish continued to lose four out of their final five games.

That losing streak has set up a very good matchup against the LSU Tigers in the Music City Bowl, and both teams are looking to redeem themselves from playing a season that should have been better. Both teams are more than capable of competing with all four teams that are in the playoff, but luck just didn’t go their way.

All of that being said, the Irish are going to be sporting some pretty awesome new cleats in the Music City Bowl. Take a look at them for yourself:

Obviously this is going to be a good game, and the Irish are going to be playing with an extra chip on their shoulders. They know that they should have been playing in much better bowl game, and they are upset about finishing the season unranked. LSU on the other hand played an incredibly difficult schedule, but still stayed the #23 team in the country.

Expect to see a very hard fought football game between two teams that are disappointed in their seasons. Everett Golson has to take care of the football if Notre Dame wants to come out with a win, which is something he didn’t do well at all during their losing streak at the end of the season.
