 This ECHL hockey team takes their jerseys to another level with ugly sweater… sweaters.

If there is one safe bet in sports, it’s that there will always be a new sports jersey that is more crazy than the last. Whether it be Oregon’s 5,000 uniform combinations in college football, NBA Christmas Day jerseys, or in this case the ECHL’s Orlando Solar Bears Christmas Jerseys, there is always going to be something that is not like the others in the latest trend of off-the-wall uniforms.

This time, the Solar Bears are giving ode to everyone’s favorite holiday trend, ugly Christmas sweaters.

The Solar Bears’ sweaters are purple with an orange collar, and offer patterns featuring colors such as blue, white, and yellow. This jersey takes the prize for ugliest jersey ever. It appears that was the intention too, following the tradition of the ugly sweaters before it. Give credit to its design as their was a lot of thought and effort put into making “ugly” uglier.

If it’s at an office party, a fundraiser, or even on the ice at an ECHL game, the ugly sweater craze is getting out of control and it appears that there is no end in sight to the phenomenon.
