The Virginia Tech Hokies and Cincinnati Bearcats squared off this afternoon in the Military Bowl, and the Hokies took the game by a final score of 33-17. It was a big win for them after a roller coaster ride of a season, and it was a good end to the year for head coach Frank Beamer who has seen the fans calling for his job all year long.
Beamer has been the head coach at Virginia Tech since the 1987 season, and has compiled a career record of 229-115-2 with the Hokies.
Needless to say, he enjoyed the bowl win and was extremely excited during his postgame speech to his team. He was so excited, in fact, that he got in the circle of the team and dropped down a dance. The team loved it, and this is the exact way that they needed to finish the season.
Take a look at Beamer’s victory dance for yourself:
This is exactly the type of video that college football fans live for, and it is one of the best Vines of the season. Beamer may be running out of time in his coaching career, but he is still able to get down on the dance floor. In all seriousness, this was a great win for the Hokies, and they deserved all of the postgame fun.
