Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle scored a 65-yard touchdown to extend their lead to 44-17 over the Washington Redskins.
Joseph Randle has had an up-and-down season with the Dallas Cowboys this year, and was nearly cut after a lot of team drama surrounding him getting arrested halfway through the season. Despite the thought of cutting him, head coach Jason Garrett decided to stick with him and give him a chance to prove himself.

Today against the Washington Redskins, Randle showed exactly why Garrett and the Cowboys decided to stick with him.
Randle took a handoff 65 yards against the Cowboys’ arch-rival Redskins for a touchdown, to extend their lead to 44-17. That would be the final score of the afternoon, and it was a great way to finish off Washington and get back at them for defeating them at home earlier in the season. The speed that Randle showed was impressive, and he adds a great change of pace behind DeMarco Murray.
Take a look at the touchdown run for yourself:
Dallas is now looking ahead towards the playoffs, and they are a legitimate contender in the NFC if they play the type of football they played this afternoon. Hopefully Randle will never have to carry the bulk of the load at the running back position, but he is capable of making some plays when he gets on the field.
