The Dallas Cowboys came into the season finale with the NFC East locked up and the division championship in hand, but that didn’t stop them from throttling the Washington Redskins anyways.
The Cowboys were dominant throughout the game and even went for a surprise on side kick despite leading 20-7 in the second quarter. They would go on to win the game 44-17.
Some are shocked that the Cowboys have played this well, and finished the season with a 12-4 record. Some might expect the Cowboys to fizzle out in the playoffs like they have every year but one since their last Super Bowl win, but not the players themselves.
As the players were walking off the field after beating the Redskins, some of the Cowboys post-game comments were caught on camera by Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPN Dallas. It is hard to tell who makes this comment, but one player says: “We’re trying to win a Super Bowl.”
And now you know what the Cowboys are thinking and focused on heading into the postseason.
It is hard to make out who makes the comment, but it looks like No. 92, Jeremy Mincey.
