With the Philadelphia Eagles looking to avoid losing four straight games to finish the season, Mark Sanchez has thrown two touchdown passes.

The Philadelphia Eagles fell out of playoff contention with three straight losses and are hoping to snap that skid to close the season against the New York Giants.

Mark Sanchez has thrown two touchdown passes for the Eagles today, the second a little 1-yard lob to tight end Brent Celek.

That score put the Eagles up 14-7 in the game, but the Giants put together three straight field goals from Josh Brown and lead 16-14 late in the first half.

However, Sanchez drove the Eagles into scoring territory and Cody Parkey hit a 32-yard field goal to put Philadelphia back on top at the half 17-16.

Sanchez threw for 205 yards and two scores in the first half, but had also thrown a pick that led to one of those field goals for New York.

Sanchez also ran for 22 yards in the first half as Philadelphia put up 266 yards of total offense despite only having possession for less than 11 minutes.

Eli Manning also threw for more than 200 yards in the first half—232—in a closely contested game.
