The Dallas Cowboys won the NFC East last weekend and will be taking on the Detroit Lions who lost to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon to drop out of the No. 2 seed in the NFC. It’s a matchup that the Lions could very well win, but the Cowboys are running into the playoffs hotter than they’ve ever been under Jason Garrett and Tony Romo.
Arizona Cardinals fans watched their team lose their last two games of the season with a third string quarterback under center, and that means a a road playoff matchup against the Carolina Panthers next weekend. The Panthers may have a losing record, but they’re hardly a team that anyone should sleep on with Cam Newton firing on all cylinders like he is right now.
The dates and times for the Wild Card round ill be set after the Bengals and Steelers determine and AFC North winners on Sunday Night Football.
